How do I know if my watch needs a service?

Common signs include the watch losing or gaining time noticeably, a quartz watch stopping before the battery should have run down, or a winding crown that feels rougher than it used to. If you are unsure, drop it off and we will have a look at no obligation.

How long does a battery change take?

A quartz battery service is usually completed the same day you bring the watch in, often within a couple of hours. We include a quick movement check and reseal as part of the service, so please allow a small amount of extra time for that.

What does a complete mechanical service include?

We disassemble the movement, clean each part carefully, replace worn lubricants, and reassemble with gentle regulation for steadier timekeeping. You receive a timing report when the watch is ready, and the case seals are checked before we return it to you.

Do you work on vintage or older watches?

Yes. Older watches are often the ones that benefit most from careful attention. We are comfortable with movements that have been in use for many years, and we are honest when parts are very difficult to source so you can make a considered decision.

Are prices fixed, or can they change after you look at the watch?

The listed prices cover standard work. If we find something unexpected during a service, we contact you before proceeding with anything additional. We will not do extra work without your agreement, and we will not charge more than the agreed amount without asking first.

How should I bring my watch to you?

You are welcome to walk in to our workshop on Silom Road. If you prefer, send us a message first and we can discuss the watch before your visit. We are open Monday through Saturday, 10 in the morning until 7 in the evening.
